Job summary

Infor Inc. in Hyderabad seeks a Senior Instructional Designer to craft in-app guidance and standard learning content for the Infor Adoption Accelerator across CloudSuite ERP products.

You will work with SMEs and product teams to translate complex business processes into concise, user-focused learning assets for a global customer base. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Our team thrives on creativity, technology, and collaboration. We are currently looking to expand our learning product development team and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Learning Designer to join us in crafting exceptional learning experiences for Infor's Digital Adoption Platform (DAP), the Infor Adoption Accelerator (IAA).

In this role, you will design and build the standard, out-of-the-box content that is packaged and delivered with IAA across Infor's CloudSuite ERP products. This content — in-app walkthroughs, tooltips, smart tips, task lists, and related guided-learning assets — is used by Infor customers as they adopt and get value from their CloudSuite applications. This is a high-visibility role: what you build ships directly inside the product experience for a global customer base.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Design and develop standard IAA content — walkthroughs, tooltips, smart tips, task lists, and other in-app guidance — packaged and shipped with Infor's Digital Adoption Platform for CloudSuite ERP products
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify and acquire product content and knowledge through active listening and source material review
• Understand, organize, and integrate CloudSuite ERP product and process information to design in-app guidance that is accurate, concise, and aligned to real user workflows
• Build content directly within the IAA/DAP authoring environment, along with other course authoring tools as needed
• Apply DAP and in-app guidance best practices — including content sequencing, contextual triggering, and minimizing disruption to the user's workflow — to maximize adoption and usability
• Learn and develop additional skills as needed, including new tools, new design approaches, and evolving DAP capabilities
• Complete project management tasks such as updating Jira stories, scheduling, and submitting content for review
• Work closely with SMEs and partner with other departments, including product development and engineering, to gather content and ensure technical accuracy of in-app guidance across CloudSuite modules
• Track and report progress on standard content development projects to senior management, identifying risks or delays and proposing solutions
• Ensure the quality of IAA content through thorough review, testing within the live application, and feedback processes
• By participating in onboarding and continuous education and enablement, become a Subject Matter Expert for the assigned Infor CloudSuite, ultimately achieving and maintaining Infor Certified Professional status

Basic Qualifications:

• Mastery in English language (both spoken and written) with the ability to pass a standard written English proficiency exam
• Advanced knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles such as ADDIE, SAM, Agile, LLAMA, etc.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders to understand and synthesize complex ERP business processes into effective, in-context learning assets
• Excellent content development and writing skills, with the ability to write clear, concise in-app guidance (walkthroughs, tooltips, task lists) as well as traditional learning materials
• Demonstrated ability to adopt and utilize modern technologies and tools effectively, including Digital Adoption Platforms
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills, ensuring timely completion of projects
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward to completion
• Flexibility to overlap work hours with US business hours to succeed in a virtual global team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
• 5+ years related experience, demonstrating a history of contribution and continuous improvement
• Hands-on experience building content in a Digital Adoption Platform (e.g., Infor Adoption Accelerator, WalkMe, Whatfix, Pendo, UserGuiding, or similar), in addition to traditional eLearning authoring tools
• Prior experience with Infor CloudSuite or another ERP platform, with the ability to quickly learn complex business processes and translate them into in-app guidance
• Experience developing training content for technical software applications and corporate initiatives
• Demonstrated skills with rapid development, including the ability to leverage GenAI tools and capabilities
• Experience using Jira for project management
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, delivering content that meets predefined standards and adapting instructional delivery to various audiences
