Qualifications

  • 2+ years in Media Operations or related field.

  • Offer level two support and resolve complex tickets.

Position Overview
  • Responsible for quality checks and metadata registration of customer supplied media assets into the Deluxe in-house platforms
  • Analyze and perform quality control for customer media content including video, captions, subtitles, audio, data, and images.
  • Conform and manipulate assets when required, as well as augmenting system data with key title, logging, and other relevant information.
  • Flexibility & Cross-Functional Support: The candidate should demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude toward supporting multiple Media Services workflows. Based on business requirements, the individual may be trained and deployed across different functions and teams to support operational priorities, volume fluctuations, and service delivery needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ingest for all types of media assets.
  • Utilize enterprise system SAN storages, S3 Cloud buckets and Networking tools.
  • Interface with end users from various internal and external groups to ensure asset fulfillment workflows are optimized for the Deluxe One platform.
  • Responsible for reading and learning evolving documentation and participating in occasional training sessions.
  • Multitask between the use of JIRA ticketing system and Stubs queue to respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • Can make sound judgements when dealing with issues that arise during troubleshooting and escalating when required.
  • Must be able to prioritize high-priority requests to meet next day turnarounds and deadlines.
  • Work in a global team and provide handoff information where necessary.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to management for improved process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Providing level two support by correcting faults and providing resolution of complex problem tickets.
  • Resolve problems independently and understand the correct escalation procedures.
  • Other duties as identified and assigned
What You Bring
  • 2+ years in Media Operations related experience
  • Hands on file and data experience strongly desired, Video, Audio, Subtitle industry conformance tools (Final Cut Pro, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Mac Captions, Pro Tools or similar equivalents)
  • Excellent attention to detail with organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Some understanding of content fulfilment, digital workflows, asset and data management systems/platforms, storage systems, cloud services, and networking protocols
  • Excellent teamwork, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, ability to maintain professionalism in a high stress situation, and project self as a team player.
  • Must be able to follow instructions, juggle multiple priorities, and solve problems involving several concrete variables in busy production environment
  • Willingness to work overtime and adjust working hours/shifts or workdays to accommodate client needs including nights and weekends when needed.
