Job summary

SBS is seeking an Infrastructre Lead to join our global operations team in Noida. You will own and strengthen large-scale infrastructure across data centers and cloud platforms, working in a hybrid setup.

You will mentor juniors, implement DevOps practices, and ensure 24/7 coverage as required. Prior experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and automation is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in container orchestration and server automation tools (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience deploying and managing highly scalable fault‑tolerant systems.
• Automation via Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI/Travis).
• Scripting: Shell, Python, Groovy.
• Extensive AWS services knowledge (EC2, Route 53, IAM, VPN, ELB, CloudWatch/Trail).
• Monitoring: ICINGA, Prometheus.
• DR/failover design, OS/App patching, incident management.
• Ticketing: ServiceNow, Jira; ITIL/AWS/K8s certs a plus.
• Linux admin; networking concepts; night/on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate, industrialize and strengthen global infrastructure practices across data centers and heterogeneous cloud platforms.
• Lead tasks independently, mentor junior team members and collaborate with DevOps and Global Operations teams.
• Ensure 24x7 on-call coverage and on-sun support as per business needs.

Responsibilities

Candidate should be able to work with Global operations & Core Practices teams to operate, industrialize & strengthen operational practices. Should have proven experience in handling large scale and growing infrastructure across Data Centers and heterogeneous Cloud platforms.

A Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills. Prior experience with DevOps practices & working in Global operations model (follow the sun), should be able to lead tasks independently & mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE
• Strong experience in container orchestration and server automation tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS, Ansible & Terraform

• Infrastructure as code (IAC) using Terraform
• CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins/GitLab CI/Travis

• Strong Knowledge and experience of AWS services : ( 8 + years of Exp )
• Compute Services (EC2 Creation)

• ITIL certification, AWS Certification, Kubernetes Administrator
• Linux administration & commands knowledge.
• Networking - Virtual Network, DNS, IPs, Security Concepts (like ACLs, firewalls etc.)Familiar with various network protocols e.g., HTTP/FTP/SFTP/SMTPKnowledge of SSL, SSH, LDAP/firewalls, CertificatesNote: Requires 24*7 Rotational shift including night shift as per business needs. Requires availability outside business hours On-call / standby on weekday/weekend
