Job summary

Rigved Technologies in Bangalore seeks an Infrastructure Security + Firewall Engineer (L2) to administer Cisco Meraki MX security appliances, manage VPN and SD-WAN security, and enforce firewall policies across enterprise branches.

You will collaborate with Network, Security, and Infrastructure teams, monitor IDS/IPS events, analyze logs, perform firmware upgrades, and support on-call rotations to ensure secure connectivity and rapid incident remediation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Network Security, Firewall Administration, or Meraki Security Operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise firewall and VPN environments.
• Hands-on expertise managing Cisco Meraki MX security deployments and configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across firewall policies, VPN, routing, and network security.
• Experience supporting multi-site enterprise environments with complex security requirements.
• Exposure to security monitoring platforms and incident response processes is essential.
• Ready to work on 3 shift rotations support, on basis request support for on-call and scheduled support maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Role: - INFRASTRUCTURE SECURITY + FIREWALL ENGINEER

Location: - Bangalore

POSITION SUMMARY

The Infrastructure Security + Firewall Engineer (L2) is responsible for administering, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki security infrastructure. This role focuses on Meraki MX Security Appliances, VPN administration, SD-WAN security, firewall policy management, IDS/IPS monitoring, content filtering, threat protection, and ensuring secure connectivity across enterprise branch environments. The engineer works closely with Network Operations, Security Operations, Infrastructure, and Application teams to maintain secure and reliable network services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Firewall & Security Policy Management

• Administer and support Cisco Meraki MX Security Appliances across enterprise environments.
