Job summary

Geektrust is seeking a Functional Consultant (IC) for a large-scale digital transformation in the Oil & Gas / Energy Trading domain. You will engage with business stakeholders to map requirements to functional solutions and support delivery across the lifecycle.

With 4-8 years of relevant experience, you bring hands-on domain knowledge in upstream/downstream processes and a deep understanding of the Energy Trading lifecycle. Excellent communication with clients is essential.

Job description

The position is for a Functional Consultant working on a large-scale digital transformation initiative within the Oil & Gas / Energy Trading domain. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role, where you\'ll report directly to the Director Consulting.

Experience 4-8 yrs

What the client is looking for The client is specifically looking for professionals who have:

• Strong Oil & Gas or Energy Trading domain experience. Hands-on experience in concepts like Upstream/ downstream, etc
• Experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Consultant
• Good understanding of the Energy Trading lifecycle and business processes
• Experience working with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into functional solutions
• Exposure to business process improvement and digital transformation initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills

They are not looking for candidates who have only implemented products like Endur, Allegro, Eka, SAP, etc. They are looking for consultants who understand the underlying Oil & Gas and Energy Trading business processes, not just the software.
