Job summary

EY is seeking a senior consultant to lead and deliver strategic transformations across the downstream oil & gas value chain. You will engage with clients globally, mentor teams, and drive digital roadmaps incorporating data analytics, IoT, AI/ML, and cloud platforms to improve operational performance.

You will shape proposals, develop client relationships, and contribute to EY's Energy Consulting practice. The role requires extensive domain knowledge in refinery and petrochemicals, plus IT/OT

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical or equivalent).
Approximately 8-13 years of total experience, with a blend of downstream oil & gas industry experience and strong consulting experience.
Expertise in downstream oil and gas sector preferably in refinery and petrochemicals industry.
Industry experience in LNG/Gas Plant experience will be added advantage
Extensive knowledge of downstream oil and gas value chains, business models, business processes, capabilities and technology solutions & vendors (Aspentech, Aveva, Honeywell etc.)
Prior working experience in digital transformation for oil & gas business including exposure to IT/OT architecture and framework
Familiarity with process simulation, process optimization, asset performance management tools will be added advantage.
Experience working with clients to create business and technology strategies, solutions and delivery roadmaps
Experience leading business and technology enabled transformation projects within Oil and Gas
Proven track record in project delivery, with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
Strong client and relationship network within the Oil and Gas Industry, and experience developing and owning relationships across the market
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, bringing teams together to achieve common goals in complex environments.
Extensive experience managing teams and mentoring talent, contributing to practice growth and capability building.
Good to have Master's degree (MBA or related).

Shape compelling proposals and thought leadership, positioning the firm as a partner of choice for strategic transformation.
