Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information management, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in information management, data governance, or IT management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience with CMS, ERP and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of data governance, data protection regulations and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Develop and implement information management policies and procedures ensuring data accuracy, security and compliance.

Purpose

• As an Information Management Manager, you oversee the organization’s information management strategy, ensuring data is effectively collected, stored, and utilized to support business operations and decision-making. Manage information systems, enforce data governance policies, and lead initiatives to improve data accuracy, security, and accessibility across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and organization of information systems, ensuring they effectively support the business’s data needs and operational goals.
• Develop and implement information management policies and procedures that ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective information management solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices for data governance, validation, and maintenance across all information systems.
• Monitor and manage the performance of information systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead information management projects, including the integration of new systems and technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on information management practices, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in information management, recommending and implementing innovative solutions that enhance the organization’s data

Education

• Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, information systems, or a related field is required. Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Certified Information Professional (CIP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly recommended. Proficiency in information management, data governance, and records management is essential. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information management, data governance, or IT management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing and overseeing information management systems, including data governance, records management, and document control, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
• Strong technical background with hands‑on experience in implementing and managing enterprise information systems, such as content management systems (CMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement information management strategies, policies, and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards, data protection regulations, and organizational requirements.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing projects focused on enhancing information management practices and systems.
• Proficiency in using data management and analytics tools to monitor performance, manage information lifecycles, and generate insights that support decision‑making.
• Knowledge of information security best practices, including data encryption, access control, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to address complex information management challenges, ensuring the efficient and secure use of organizational data.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization and drive improvements in information management practices.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Certified Information Professional (CIP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
