Job summary

PwC Pune invites a seasoned Informatica MDM SaaS Manager to lead our MDM SaaS team, aligning with enterprise data governance and business objectives. This role oversees development, implementation, and support of scalable MDM solutions.

You will partner with business stakeholders and IT to prioritise initiatives, manage resources and budgets, and drive data quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/IT or related field.
• 9–14 years in Master Data Management.
• At least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Experience in large-scale Informatica MDM deployments (on-prem/cloud).
• Deep understanding of MDM: modeling, survivorship, matching, governance.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong project/resource management (Agile and Waterfall).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with business/IT leadership.
• Familiarity with Informatica tools CDGC, CDQ, CAI, IICS.
• Regulatory compliance experience (GDPR, CCPA).

The role requires strong leadership skills to oversee large-scale SaaS MDM projects, ensuring best practices, data quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to prioritize initiatives, manage resources, and deliver high-quality MDM services.

A strategic mindset combined with hands-on expertise in Informatica MDM SaaS principles, project management, and cross-functional team leadership is essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the SaaS MDM team responsible for development, implementation, and support of MDM solutions.
• Develop, execute, and maintain the overall Informatica MDM SaaS strategy aligned with enterprise data governance and business requirements.
• Oversee the design and delivery of scalable SaaS MDM solutions, including data modeling, matching, survivorship, and workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to prioritize SaaS MDM initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, and vendor relationships related to Informatica SaaS MDM implementations.
• Establish and enforce MDM best practices, data standards, and compliance with relevant data privacy laws and regulations.
• Ensure robust data quality monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement processes are in place.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between MDM, data governance, data quality, and BI teams.
• Manage release cycles, deployments, and upgrades of Informatica SaaS MDM platforms.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and career development guidance to team members.
• Report regularly on MDM program status, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Stay current with MDM industry trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend innovations to enhance the MDM program.
• Exposure to Advanced Match & Merge features such as Adaptive AI Matching, Match explainability & Tuning, Automated DQ Rule recommendations , Enrichment Orchestrator (EVO) Automated Reltationship Inference using CLAIRE

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 9-14 years of experience in Master Data Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong experience managing large-scale Informatica MDM implementations (on-premises and/or cloud) preferrably cloud
• Deep understanding of MDM principles including data modeling, survivorship rules, matching and linking algorithms, and data governance.
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams consisting of architects, developers, analysts, and QA professionals.
• Solid project and resource management skills, including Agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working closely with business and IT leadership.
• Familiarity with related Informatica tools (CDGC, CDQ, CAI,IICS) and integration technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic and tactical mindset.
• Experience with regulatory compliance related to data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
