Job summary

Applycup seeks a Senior Data Engineer MDM to design, build, and support enterprise-scale master data management solutions. The role focuses on ensuring data consistency, quality, and governance across customer, product, supplier, and materials domains.

The candidate will design MDM pipelines, ingest and orchestrate data with Azure Data Factory, and implement transformations with Python and Snowflake models. Global collaboration and structured delivery are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and implement MDM-centric data pipelines aligned with global data architecture.
• Develop and manage data ingestion and orchestration workflows using Azure Data Factory.
• Implement data transformation, standardization, validation, and matching logic with Python.
• Design and manage Snowflake data models supporting master data and golden records.
• Apply data quality checks, survivorship rules, deduplication, and reconciliation mechanisms.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand master data definitions, hierarchies, and rules.
• Support data governance and compliance requirements including metadata, lineage, and audit controls.
• Optimize performance and reliability of data pipelines and MDM processes.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Role Purpose

The Senior Data Engineer MDM will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprisescale Master Data Management solutions for SaintGobain’s global data platform. The role focuses on ensuring consistency, quality, and governance of master data across domains such as Customer, Product, Supplier, and Materials.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Master Data Management concepts, including:

Preferred candidate profile:

• Exposure to commercial MDM platforms (Informatica, Reltio, Semarchy, Profisee, etc.)
• Experience with data governance tools (Microsoft Purview or equivalent)
• Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, or product master data
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold)
• Experience with BI or analytics consumption (Power BI or similar)
