Job summary

Virtusa is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with 7+ years in enterprise data engineering and Master Data Management to join our Chennai-based team. The role demands hands-on expertise with major MDM platforms, SQL proficiency, and API-driven data integration.

You will work with Informatica MDM, Veeva Network, Reltio Cloud MDM, SAP MDG, and integration tools such as MuleSoft or Kafka to design and implement robust data solutions that ensure data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of core experience in enterprise Data Engineering and Master Data Management.
• Proficiency with MDM platforms: Informatica MDM (Multidomain / SaaS), Veeva Network, Reltio Cloud MDM, SAP MDG.
• Advanced SQL for relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
• Familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP), Webhooks, and middleware tools (MuleSoft, IICS, Kafka, Dell Boomi).
• Solid foundation in data modeling, data governance, data stewardship workflows and data lineage.

Technical & Professional Qualifications Experience:

7+ years of core experience working in enterprise Data Engineering and Master Data Management.

MDM Platforms: Proven proficiency in at least one (or more) leading MDM suite: Informatica MDM (Multidomain / SaaS) Veeva Network (Life Sciences / Commercial MDM) Reltio Cloud MDM SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)

SQL Expertise: Advanced hands‑on experience with SQL for relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake) to write complex queries, stored procedures, and perform deep data analysis.

Integration Technologies: Strong familiarity with APIs (REST, SOAP), Webhooks, and standard enterprise integration tools/middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica IICS, Kafka, or Dell Boomi).

Data Modeling & Governance: Solid foundation in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, data stewardship workflows, and data lineage mapping.
