Job summary

HCLTech in Hyderabad, India is seeking a senior data integration engineer to lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Informatica IICS solutions. You will architect and optimize SQL queries, and develop Oracle PL/SQL components while shaping automation via Unix shell scripts.

Job description

• Lead and manage technical teams in the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services solutions.
• Architect, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to support data retrieval, transformation, and integration.
• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions, including stored procedures, triggers, and functions to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Unix Shell scripts for the automation and orchestration of data processes and workflows.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, data integration challenges, and performance bottlenecks to ensure seamless operations.
• Document technical designs, processes, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and team development.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, security policies, and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Skill Requirements

• Proven hands‑on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for data integration and management.
• Advanced proficiency in MS SQL for writing, optimizing, and managing relational database queries and scripts.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, including the creation of complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Proficient in Unix Shell scripting for automation and process management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Informatica, SQL, or cloud technologies (preferred).

Other Requirements (Optional)

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
• Previous experience in a client-facing or consulting environment is advantageous.
