Job summary

SWITS DIGITAL Private Limited in Chennai is seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise ETL solutions using PowerCenter, IDQ, or IICS. The candidate should have 5–7 years of hands-on ETL experience and strong SQL skills.

You will work on data integration across databases, APIs, and cloud sources, implement data quality controls, and tune performance of mappings and workflows to ensure reliable data delivery in a governed environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Informatica ETL development.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with Dimensional Modeling, Star/Snowflake schemas.
• Experience with designing and optimizing ETL mappings and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, or IICS.
• Develop complex mappings, transformations, sessions, workflows, and reusable components.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, cloud storage, and enterprise applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical ETL and data warehouse solutions.
• Optimize ETL jobs, SQL queries, and workflows for improved performance and scalability.
• Design and implement data validation, cleansing, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Schedule and automate ETL workflows for daily and batch data processing.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshoot production issues, and support ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with enterprise data governance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data integration solutions.
