Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Data & Analytics is seeking an Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Engineer with deep expertise in IDQ mappings and data quality initiatives. The role requires hands-on data cleansing, strong data analysis, and experience across Oracle, Teradata, and HIVE.

The engineer will design and implement comprehensive data quality strategies, leverage Informatica effectively, and work with large-scale data environments to deliver reliable data assets for AI-ready ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience of developing IDQ mappings, mapplets, sessions & workflows.
• Data cleansing projects with strong data analysis skills.
• Design and implement end-to-end Data Quality strategy.
• Good hands-on experience in Informatica.
• Ability to handle large data volumes across Oracle, Teradata and HIVE.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize IDQ mappings, mapplets, sessions and workflows.
• Lead end-to-end data quality initiatives across multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure quality across data pipelines.

Experience: 10-20 years

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

• Hands-on experience of developing IDQ mappings, mapplets, sessions & workflows
• Data Cleansing project experience including strong data analysis skills
• Design and implement end-to-end Data Quality strategy
• Good hands-experience in Informatica
• Ability to handle large volume of data including multiple databases like Oracle, Teradata, HIVE

Good-to-Have

• Hand on experience of 1 or more scheduling tools like Control‑M, Tivoli, etc.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts – SCD types, Facts and dimensions, Star/Snowflake schemas.
• The candidate should have good DevOps and Agile Development Framework knowledge.
