Job summary

Vericence is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and optimize enterprise data solutions, with a strong emphasis on IDMC, CDI, and CAI. The role requires hands-on development, troubleshooting, and offshore delivery experience across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration pipelines using Informatica IDMC with CDI and CAI focus.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for enterprise data integration and migration initiatives.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
• Write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation, scheduling, and operational support.
• Develop Python-based solutions for data processing, automation, and workflow optimization.
• Integrate data across cloud and on-premises systems ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 7-10 years of hands-on experience in building, integrating, and optimizing enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

This role requires a strong development-oriented professional who can independently design, develop, troubleshoot, and support data integration solutions in an offshore delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration pipelines using Informatica IDMC, with a strong focus on Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for enterprise data integration and migration initiatives.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
• Write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation, scheduling, and operational support.
• Develop Python-based solutions for data processing, automation, and workflow optimization.
• Integrate data across cloud and on-premises systems while ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and application teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7-10 years of overall experience in Data Engineering and ETL development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

Strong expertise in:

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data transformations and performance optimization.
• Strong experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering, automation, and scripting.
• Experience working with at least one of the following cloud data platforms:
• Databricks
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in an offshore delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data engineering projects.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using cloud-native integration services.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Experience with cloud-based data migration and modernization projects.
