Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking an IDQ Platform Administrator to install, configure, and maintain the Informatica Data Quality environment with high availability. Key Responsibilities :

IDQ Platform Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain the Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance activities for the IDQ platform.
• Manage and monitor the performance, storage, and security aspects of the IDQ infrastructure.

User Management :

• Create, manage, and configure user accounts, roles, and permissions within the IDQ system to ensure secure access control.
• Oversee the onboarding of new users, providing necessary training and support.

Data Integration and Quality :

• Administer and monitor data quality processes, such as profiling, cleansing, matching, and standardizing data, across various data sources.
• Work with data stewards and business analysts to implement and enforce data quality rules and standards.

Environment Monitoring and Troubleshooting :

• Proactively monitor the health and performance of the IDQ system to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Troubleshoot system errors and performance bottlenecks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Collaboration with Development Teams :

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate IDQ solutions into existing ETL workflows and data pipelines.
• Assist in designing and implementing IDQ mappings, workflows, and transformations to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Compliance and Security :

• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry regulations by managing security settings and audit logs in the IDQ environment.
• Work closely with the IT security team to safeguard sensitive information processed within the IDQ system.

Backup and Recovery :

• Implement backup strategies and recovery plans to protect critical data and configurations within the IDQ system.
• Regularly test recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

Reporting and Documentation :

• Generate regular reports on system performance, user activity, and data quality improvements.
• Maintain detailed documentation of IDQ configurations, troubleshooting steps, and procedures.
