Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior SDET to lead testing across a new team, coordinating with feature delivery squads to enforce quality. The role emphasizes automation using WebdriverIO, Cypress, and Playwright, with strong focus on STLC, SQL, CI/CD, and AI-assisted testing tools.

The position requires deep experience in web UI/API/DB testing and hands-on framework development. Hyderabad/Noida/Gurugram locations with potential client-driven on-site work.

Qualifications

• Experience with E2E Testing Web UI applications, API, DB automation testing.
• Expertise in Automation Testing for WebdriverIO (Typescript), and Cypress (JavaScript).
• Playwright (JavaScript) for both automation and manual testing.
• Proficient in Hybrid and BDD frameworks.
• Adept at managing all stages of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Solid understanding of database concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and database querying.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data migration testing.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs and perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Experience in CI/CD environments with Azure, TeamCity.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, ECS.
• CI/CD design using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
• Observability: Splunk, Open Telemetry.
• Secret Management in test.
• Proficiency with AI tools like GitHub Copilot and testing tools such as Selenium and WebDriver.
• Build New Test and maintenance of existing test using Copilot.
• AI-driven Failure analysis/code reviews/ code optimization using Copilot or similar tools.
• Build test systems/pipelines using agentic AI driven approach.

Lead SDET Location: Hyderabad / Noida / Gurugaon

Senior SDET (C# + Selenium) Responsibilities:

• Lead the testing and quality efforts on a new team, working in collaboration with other feature delivery teams to ensure appropriate practices and processes are followed.
• Oversee and participate in the development and review of test strategies and test plans to ensure appropriate test coverage of all features.
• Oversee and participate in the performance of tests across various applications.

What We’re Looking For:
