Job summary

Srmap seeks an entry-level professional to execute GRC, internal audits, and risk advisory engagements in Mumbai. You will review deliverables, mentor junior staff, and help develop client-facing materials while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Requires CA / CIA / MBA with 0–1 year post-qualification experience, strong communication, and willingness to work beyond hours. Valid passport is essential for regional travel.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Execute client engagements in governance, risk & compliance (GRC), internal audits, process reviews, standard operating procedures, enterprise risk management, and revenue assurance.
• Ensure quality delivery as per client requirements and review working papers and client folders.
• Suggest ideas to improve engagement productivity and client service.
• Understand business and industry issues/trends to identify areas for improvement in client processes and prepare recommendations.
• Handle data analytics using tools such as Access and ACL.
• Ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality and risk management procedures.
• Maintain awareness of internal auditing standards issued by IIA and ICAI.
• Apply solution-based problem-solving techniques.
• Manage engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals, and new solution/methodology development.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients, including process owners and functional heads.
• Mentor interns and analysts within the practice and contribute to knowledge management sessions.
• Brief engagement teams on client internal audit environments and industry trends.
• Maintain client management relationships to manage expectations regarding service, timing, and deliverables.
• Perform internal control testing, develop internal audit plans, and provide internal audit services on an outsourcing basis.
• Assess internal controls and SOX framework to mitigate risk and apply findings to client situations.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of client business and industry to identify technological developments and evaluate their impact.
• Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork, and use current technology/tools to enhance deliverables and services.
• Understand EY and its service lines to assess firm capabilities for client service.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Availability to travel outside assigned office location at least 50% of the time, including regional commutes where public transportation may be unavailable.
