Qualifications

• Capability to develop time study estimates using PMTS tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop precedence and succedence matrix against the process sheets.
• Allocate process time to each station based on Takt/cycle time.
• Achieve optimal line balancing for varying JPH requirements.

Job description

Understand product / process design requirements

Able to assess the sequence of operations in process sheet

Develop Time study estimates based on process sheet at virtual phase using PMTS tools

Develop precedence,succedence matrix against the process sheets

Allocate process time to each station based on Takt/cycle time.

Achieve optimal line balancing for single/multi model scenarios and varying JPH requirements

Validate process allocation in physical builds

Update time study as necessary during physical builds

Skills Required:

Knowledge in Vehicle Assembly - Weld, Paint & General Assembly processes

AutoCAD, MS office

Knowledge in Timestudy tools eg. MOST, MODAPTS, MTM2 etc (MODAPTS specific skill added advantage)
