Job summary

Hero MotoCorp is seeking an Industrial Designer for Jaipur R&D to execute design and development of motorcycles, scooters and EV projects. You will lead concept design, colour-graphics, and show-model work, coordinating with section heads to deliver on time and within cost.

The role requires a design degree (M.Des./B.Des) and ~4 years of experience in automotive design, with strong sketching and visualization skills and understanding of market needs.

Qualifications

• M. Des./B.Des degree required.
• 4 years of experience in design and development.
• Experience in motorcycles/scooters/EV design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Concept design and development of motorcycle, scooter, EV, colour and graphics projects.
• Lead 3D/physical model development through project stages.
• Maintain design standards across projects and ensure timely delivery.

A purpose driven role for you

Industrial Designer will be responsible for the execution of the Design and Development of Motorcycles/scooter/EV/Colour and Graphic projects assigned to his/her team as discussed with the Sections Heads of different sections. He/she will be responsible for ensuring Project Delivery within quality, time & Cost parameters

A Day in the life

• Concept design, development & execution of various projects (Motorcycles, Scooters, EVs, Colour-Graphics, Concept/Show Models)
• Ensuring delivery during the 3D/Physical model development as per project stage.
• Maintaining Design standards during the course of the Projects

Academic Qualification & Experience

• M. Des./B.Des
• 4 Years Experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Skills, understanding of market / users requirements.
• Understanding of latest Trends in automotive Industry
• Good Sketching & Visualisation skills, 3D Modelling as an extra benefit
