Job summary

Visteon in India is seeking an Indirect Purchasing Buyer Professional Services to manage the full procurement lifecycle for services, from requirement intake to PO execution. You will define SOWs, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization.

You will ensure contract compliance, work with AVL and sourcing boards, and monitor supplier performance while aiming for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own the full procurement lifecycle including requirement intake, SOW validation, RFQ creation, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order execution.
• Develop clear and comprehensive Statements of Work (SOW) defining scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
• Lead contract and agreement management including MSA, SOW, rate cards, and milestone-based contracts.
• Ensure contractual compliance with company terms, confidentiality agreements (NDA), and intellectual property protection clauses.
• Drive competitive sourcing using Approved Vendor List (AVL) and ensure selection based on capability, cost, and risk.
• Coordinate sourcing approvals including Sourcing Board reviews for higher spend engagements.
• Ensure compliance with quality (IATF) and information security (ISO 27001/TISAX) requirements where applicable.
• Monitor supplier performance on deliverables, quality, timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement through supplier development plans and performance reviews.
• Deliver cost savings through negotiation, rate benchmarking, and demand consolidation.
