Job summary

A leading financial technology company in Gurugram is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 5-8 years of experience, preferably in the NBFC sector. You will be responsible for the monthly and annual closing of books as per I GAAP/IND AS, preparing statutory financials, leading IND AS transitions, and coordinating with auditors. Ideal candidates should possess deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards and a strong business acumen.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in financial management.
• Experience in the NBFC industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monthly/Annual closing of books as per I GAAP /IND AS.
• Preparation of statutory financials.
• Evaluate and monitor risks, upgrade Controls/IFCs.
• Leading the IND- AS transition of books.
• Focus on timely financial reporting.
• Co-ordination with auditors.
• Designing of SOPs to improve processes.
• MIS/information as required by management.
• Co-ordinating with departments for information closure.

Skills

Knowledge of Schedule 3, I GAAP and IND AS

Prior Experience of IND AS

Chartered Accountant

Industry Required: NBFC Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly/Annual closing of books as per I GAAP /IND AS and preparation of statutory financials.
• Preparation of full set of Annual/ Half yearly Standalone and Consolidated financials.
• Evaluate and monitor risks, upgrade Controls/IFCs regarding the operations of the Company on an ongoing basis.
• Leading the IND- AS transition of books.
• Focus on accurate and timely financial reporting, and presentation to the Management,
• Co-ordination with Statutory (Big 4) and Internal auditors (Big 4).
• Designing of SOPs and plugging the gaps in process.
• Prior experience in transition to IND AS and NBFC is preference but not mandate.
• MIS/information as and when required by the management
• Co-ordinating with different departments for desired information and closure of key responsible areas

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Schedule 3, I GAAP and IND AS.
• Prior Experience of IND AS must.
