Job summary

IndiaNIC Infotech Limited is seeking a Native iOS Developer to build and maintain mobile apps for a connected‑device platform. You will own feature development, maintenance, and production support, collaborating with Cloud, Firmware, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver releases on time.

You will work on Swift native iOS development, integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, and handle BLE/NFC flows, app store submissions, testing, and documentation to ensure robust mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• Expert‑level native iOS development in Swift with the current iOS SDK.
• Strong experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Mobile security including certificate pinning and secure credential storage.
• BLE experience with CoreBluetooth and encrypted device communication.
• Solid understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop native iOS features and implement new UI/UX based on requirements.
• Maintain apps with bug fixes and performance optimisations.
• Integrate backend APIs and cloud services (AWS-hosted).

About The Role

We are looking for a Native iOS Developer to build and maintain mobile applications for a connected‑device platform. The app is an always‑online solution that relies on the cloud for permission validation and access generation, while interacting with hardware over Bluetooth (BLE) and supporting NFC/RFID credentials. You will own feature development, maintenance, and production support, working closely with Cloud, Firmware, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver releases on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Native iOS development using Swift and the current iOS SDK
• Implement new features based on product requirements
• Maintain existing applications, including bug fixes and performance optimization
• Integrate with backend APIs and cloud services (AWS-hosted)
• Implement device communication over BLE (CoreBluetooth) and support NFC/RFID flows
• Implement UI/UX following design specifications and platform guidelines
• Manage app store submission, builds, and release management
• Write unit and UI tests to minimize defects and reproduce intermittent issues
• Troubleshoot and provide fast‑turnaround hotfixes for production issues
• Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation
• Collaborate closely with the Cloud/Web team on API integration

Required Skills & Experience

• Expert‑level native iOS development (Swift, current iOS SDK)
• Strong experience with RESTful and GraphQL API integration
• Mobile‑specific security: certificate pinning, secure credential storage, token‑based auth (JWT, Cognito or similar)
• Hands‑on BLE experience (CoreBluetooth); familiarity with encrypted device communication
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
• Familiarity with app store submission processes (TestFlight, Apple App Store)
• Build/dependency tooling: Xcode, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager
• Testing frameworks: XCTest, XCUITest

Preferred / Nice To Have

• Experience with IoT / connected‑device companion apps (strongly preferred)
• Experience with OTA firmware update flows
