We’re looking for a Research Associate to:

• convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions

The team

You’ll be working in the UBS India Research team based out of Mumbai. As a Research - APAC Equity - Power generation & Distribution Analyst you’ll play an important role in analyzing industry dynamics and providing investment recommendations to institutional equity clients. The team works hard to make sure our clients listen to differentiated industry themes, stock ideas generated by us

Your Skills And Experience

• preferably 8-12 years of experience as Financial Analyst with over 5 years covering Insurance and Capital Markets as lead analyst.
• Broker votes from large domestic and foerign institutional investors
• Strong understanding of financial statements, annual reports and company disclosures.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining financial forecasting and valuation models.
• Strong knowledge of fundamental valuation methodologies and company analysis.
• Understanding of the insurance sector and its key financial, operational and regulatory drivers.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear research conclusions.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to articulate fundamental views clearly.
• Strong analytical ability, intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.
• Well-organized, proactive and capable of working independently while operating effectively within a collaborative global team.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders,

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• Relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications, such as an MBA, CFA or equivalent, would be advantageous.
