Walmart Global Tech Bengaluru is seeking a Software Engineer III to lead cloud infrastructure for Azure and GCP PaaS. You will automate deployments with Terraform, enforce security guardrails, and architect scalable networking across global platforms.
The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and advanced troubleshooting, with a focus on secure, isolated cloud environments and CI/CD-driven deployments. Based in Bengaluru with flexible work options.
As a Software Engineer III (Azure/GCP Cloud PaaS), you will be responsible for the core infrastructure management, security, and networking of our PaaS platforms. You will deploy cloud resources programmatically using Terraform, ensure global compliance and network isolation, and pioneer agentic and intelligent automation for auto-remediating alerts and operational tasks.
The PaaS Foundation team provides the cloud-native platforms, services, and frameworks that power Walmart’s global operations. We are on a mission to enable secure, automated, and intelligent consumption of public cloud offerings across the enterprise, ultimately impacting 260 million customers a week across 11,500 stores and e-commerce sites.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
