Job summary

Walmart Global Tech India in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain the multi-tenant CCaaS platform and microservices. You will work on front-end and back-end components, collaborating with global teams and product management.

5–10 years of software engineering experience, strong CS fundamentals, and proficiency with Java, React and NodeJS are required. Cloud architecture, microservices and CI/CD tools like Git, Maven and Jenkins are expected.

We are seeking a hands-on highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this technical role, you will report to the Sr. Engineering Manager in IDC. You will be responsible fordeveloping the multi-tenant Contact Center Platform,as well asdeveloping and maintaining enterprise-grade microservices, and pipelines.

What you'll do:

• Design, development, implementation and documentation for product features.
• Build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting associates of Walmart worldwide.
• Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
• Engage with Product Management to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.
• You will be contributing in both front end as well as back end stack and taking care of requirement from end to end development
• Work closely with the Architects and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery). Within the established architectural guidelines.

What you'll bring:

• B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science or relevant discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in design and development of highly-scalable applications and platform development.
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
• Having proficiency in object oriented language like Java
• Having proficiency in front end technologies like React, NodeJS
• Good knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Microservice
• CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins.
• Practitioner of Agile (Scrum) methodology.

Minimum Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications
