Job summary

The Hartford seeks a Senior Software Engineer - .NET Angular Full Stack in India to design, develop and deliver enterprise applications using C#, .NET and Angular. You will work on REST APIs, database integration with Oracle and cloud basics with AWS in an Agile team.

Candidates should have 4+ years of software engineering experience, strong problem solving, and a proactive approach to DevSecOps and code reviews.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in enterprise application environments.
• Hands-on C# and .NET development experience; .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET 8 proficiency preferred.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle experience; ability to analyze data issues and support query-level troubleshooting.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs and integrating with enterprise systems.
• Experience with Agile delivery and sprint-based planning/execution.
• Working knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows, pull requests, branch management, and peer code reviews.
• Understanding of unit/integration testing and DevSecOps practices.
• Cloud fundamentals, with AWS exposure strongly preferred.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools and review AI-generated output responsibly.
