STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking an Income COE Officer to support client operations and COE teams. You will monitor and process custody, accounting, and middle office events to ensure timely, accurate fund records and strong risk controls.

You will lead a team, optimize processes, manage resources, and drive automation while maintaining compliance with regulations across income cycles, corporate actions, and related activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Economics with a specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Inter CA/Inter ICWAI or CFA (pursuing) preferred.
  • 10–16 years of experience in accounting, finance, mutual fund operations, or loan servicing.

  • Resource Management: Manage resources (people, budget, technology) to achieve objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and identify improvement areas with corrective actions.

  • Collaboration: Align with executive teams for cross-functional coordination.
  • Quality Control: Ensure operations deliver high-quality services meeting client needs.

Who we are looking forAs an Income COE Officer, the ideal candidate will support and assist Client Operations and other operational Shared Service teams/ Center of Excellence (COE’s) by monitoring and processing custody, accounting, middle office related events to the fund’s records accurately and timely. Ensure prompt follow up on exception situations and facilitate timely problem resolution to mitigate risk to the corporation and deliver excellent service to clients and people management.Why this role is important to usIncome COE deals with end to end processing of events across custody, accounting, middle office and claims services for our clients. This involves processing of many financial activities which will help other team to derive at NAV to the client, As part of Income COE you will be required to contribute towards development of Process, people and Improve Risk standards for the team.What you will be responsible forAs Officer you will:Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.Resource Management : Manage resources (people, budget, technology) effectively to achieve operational objectives.Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement, taking corrective actions as needed.Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of managers and staff within the operations department.Collaboration: Work with other executive teams to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization.Quality Control: Ensure that the company's operations deliver high-quality products or services that meet customer needs.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential operational risks.Deep knowledge of Income and Corporate Actions: Understanding the end to end income cycle, fund accounting, amortization, concepts on bonds, dividends, entitlement calculations , amortization, market and loan claims lifecycle, middle office operations and relevant regulations.What we value- Key Skills:Result-oriented with an ownership and accountability mindsetCommercial acumen - Understanding of cost/budgetsDrive pay for performance and culture of performance differentiationExecutive presence, managing with influence and effective communication across stakeholder groups both regionally and globallyEmbed risk excellence culture across the teamsEncourage and drive a culture of change and ideationDrive efficiency and automation initiatives .
