Job summary

jda in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to define and govern cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will lead large-scale migrations, modernization, and hybrid integrations, while guiding teams in containerization, serverless, and DevOps automation.

You will drive governance, cost controls, and security compliance, evaluate new cloud tech, and present roadmaps to senior stakeholders. This role requires high ownership and leadership across global cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT/CS/Electronics or equivalent diploma.
• 12+ years of progressive infrastructure experience with 5+ years in cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define cloud infrastructure architecture, standards, and best practices across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Lead design and delivery of large-scale cloud solutions including migration and modernization.
• Provide technical leadership for projects with containers, microservices, serverless, and DevOps automation.
• Oversee cloud governance, cost management, and security compliance.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies, conduct PoCs, and advise on strategic adoption.

• Establish capacity planning, performance tuning, and DR strategies in cloud environments.
• Lead vendor engagements and contribute to contract and solution negotiations.
• Mentor architects, engineers, and support teams in cloud and infra domains.

What you’ll do:

• Define cloud infrastructure architecture, standards, and best practices across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s orMaster’sdegree in IT/Computer Science/Electronics.or equivalent diploma.

• 12+ years of progressive infrastructure experience, with 5+ years in cloud architecture roles.

• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure design and operations (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).

• Strong knowledge of networking, security, identity, and hybrid cloud integration.

• Hands-on experience withIaCand automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.).

• Proficiency in container and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS/GKE).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and observability solutions.

• Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, and FinOps principles in cloud.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• This role involves rotational shifts, including night shifts, to provide 24/7 application support.

• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as per shift schedule.

• Ability to handle responsibilities independently during off-hours.
