Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Engineering, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or information security.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA/CPRA, and other international privacy laws.
• Strong expertise in technical privacy controls, including encryption, pseudonymization, access management, and related security mechanisms.
• Experience in conducting privacy assessments, gap analyses, and audits.

Job Summary-

**Responsibilities:** Strategic Planning & ArchitectureDefine the long-term technical roadmap and architectural vision for core products and systems.Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and high performance across all platforms.Evaluate and select emerging technology stacks, tools, and frameworks to improve efficiency.2. Team Leadership & MentorshipLead, mentor, and grow a team of Technical Leads and senior engineers.Guide engineering teams through complex technical challenges, design reviews, and code quality standards.Partner with Engineering Managers to align technical execution with team growth, hiring, and career development.

Project Execution & DeliveryOversee end-to-end technical delivery across multiple concurrent projects.Remove high-level technical blockers and resolve architectural dependencies.Manage risk assessment, disaster recovery planning, and technical governance.

Cross-Functional CollaborationAct as the primary technical liaison between engineering teams and executive stakeholders.Collaborate with Product Managers, UX, and business leaders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 12+ years in software engineering, with at least 4–5 years in a leadership role managing technical leads or multi-team organizations.Technical Expertise: Deep hands-on background in system design, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and modern programming languages.Leadership: Proven ability to lead through influence, set engineering standards, and manage organizational changes.Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Mandatory skill sets:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Engineering, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree in MBA, Law, Information Security or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or information security.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA/CPRA, and other international privacy laws.
• Strong expertise in technical privacy controls, including encryption, pseudonymization, access management, and related security mechanisms.
• Experience in conducting privacy assessments, gap analyses, and audits.
• Familiarity with data governance, risk management, and IT security practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent are a plus.
