Job summary

PwC India, Mumbai-based AppTech Advisory, seeks a Senior Associate DevOps Engineer to lead CI/CD design, cloud infra management, and automation efforts. You will collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve processes and security across pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years in DevOps, strong Kubernetes, Terraform, and scripting skills, and a BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech in regular full-time mode.

Qualifications

• Proven DevOps experience with cloud platforms.
• Proficient in Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Jenkins, Tekton, and ArgoCD.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes (OpenShift).
• Scripting in Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Provision cloud and on-prem infrastructure using IaC.
• Implement infra monitoring and logging with Prometheus/Grafana/ELK.
• Containerize with Docker and manage Kubernetes.
• Write automation scripts in Python and Bash.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, and Ops to improve processes.
• Ensure security practices across pipeline and infra.
• Troubleshoot production issues.

Responsibilities

• CAN JOIN IN 0- 30 DAYS
• CI/CD & Automation: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD) to automate security testing (SAST, SCA) and deployment of applications.
• Infrastructure Management: Provision and manage cloud (AWS/ Azure/GCP) or on-prem infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement and manage infra monitoring, logging, alerting and APM using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Containerization: Work with Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.
• Scripting & Development: Write scripts (Python, Bash) to automate tasks and integrate systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Developers, QA, and Operations teams to improve processes.
• Security: Ensure security best practices and compliance throughout the pipeline and infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve production issues and errors.

Mandatory Skill Sets

• Experience: Proven experience in DevOps.
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• IaC Tools: Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Scripting: Python, Bash.
• Version Control: Git.
• Linux: Strong administration skills.
• Soft Skills: Communication, problem-solving, collaboration, customer focus.
• SAST and SCA tool: SonarQube and Dependency Track

Preferred Skill Sets

• Relevant certifications in Devops, Kubernetes / Openshift experience would be a plus.

Years of experience required:4 to 7 years

Education qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ M.E/ M.TECH/ MBA/ PGDM. All qualifications should be in regular full-time mode with no extension of course duration due to backlogs

Requirements:
