Bosch in India seeks a Manufacturing Front Line Manager for the Plunger value stream to ensure in-line production according to product liability principles. You will lead shop floor teams, plan headcount, and maintain discipline while coordinating with cross-functional departments.

The role requires 2–5 years of shop floor management experience in automotive/manufacturing, strong English (Kannada preferred), travel readiness, and knowledge of SPC, MSA, lean tools, SAP/MES, and cost optimization.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Manufacturing Front line manager for Plunger in Element Value stream.
• Ensure manufacturing of Product in-line with principle of product liability.
• Associate management - headcount planning and shop floor discipline.
• Production management - delivery as per plan, material availability, reporting, work allocation, tool & consumable management.
• Deviation reporting and management; cross-functional collaboration.
• Estimate employee requirements and improve cost efficiency.
• Data logging for management information; support audits (internal/external).
• Adhere to QMS standards and maintain inventory (WIP, stock reconciliation).
• Review KPI status with cross-functional teams; maintain shop discipline and OPL closure.

Job Description

• Manufacturing Front line manager for Plunger in Element Value stream
• Ensure manufacturing of Product In-line with Principle of Product liability

• Associate management - Head count planning and Ensuring shop floor discipline.
• Production management - Delivery as per plan,Material availability and reporting ,work allocation and Tool & consumable management
• Deviation reporting and Management
• Cooperation with cross functional departments
• Estimation of the employee requirements
• Trouble shooting in operations management
• Cooperation for Audits (internal, external)
• Improve the cost efficiency & identify areas for cost optimization
• Data logging for management information

• Ensure general conduct inline with safety and other BOSCH guidelines and procedures

• Knowledge on MSA, capability studies & Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Experience of Quality Systems, Shainin,Tools & Techniques
• Knowledge on Quick changeover
• Awareness of BOSCH & Other control systems
• Understanding of Process specifications and confirming to the defined standards and specifications
• Identify and review improvement potential through change initiatives e.g BPS,CIP
• Knowledge on I4.0 , BPS , SAP and EWAK
• Ensure adherence to QMS Standards ( Layered process confirmation,OPL Closure,Retention of documents)
• Inventory management (WIP Management,stock reconciliation,preparation of stock take,quarantined material)

• Review of KPI Status (SQCD Board) with CFT team

• Review and Maintain Shop discipline,OPL Closure

• Coordination for sample manufacturing

Qualifications

with 2-5 year experience and min 2 years of experience in Shop floor Management or related role

• Good Communication: Presentation & Command over English (Kannada Preferred)
