Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering is required; experience in lean, SPC, FMEA, and process optimization is preferred. Bosch offers opportunities to work on Industry 4.0 initiatives and challenging projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Capacity enhancement and production ramp-up planning.

• Lead continuous improvement and I4.0 projects.

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to implement capable manufacturing process for production with quality, cost effective, productive, safe, technology, adapting lean principles at plant and extended work bench.

Location - Naganathapura and Hassan

Key Result Areas

• Capacity EnhancementAnalyze current technical capacities and come up with measures to meet the plant business volumes.Production capacity ramp up
• Process stability Establish process control like SPC and control limits for all the special characteristics, poka yoke systems, FMEA line walks to achieve product quality and consistency.IDC, customer incidences and quality audit rejections.
• Tooling supportDefine and ensure the availability of required tooling to shopfloor to meet the manufacturing and product specifications. Uninterrupted manufacturingProcess documentationMaintain all process related documents of manufacturing unit for efficient operations.Delivery fulfilment, wage calculation, PPC calculation and adherence to Bosch CDQ.
• Process optimization Develop measures to upgrade the manufacturing processes in line with the lead plant for process standardization, support in resolving regular problems/interruptions on the production lines and I4.0 projects.
• Environment Management SystemCreate and update EMS, environment heath safety documents and requirements for plant safety.EHS and EMS compliance.
• Pilot Orders and Trial OrdersDevelop processes and coordinate for manufacturing pilot batch to ensure timely supply of parts to customer.New product developmentAuditsPrepare and participate in various audits like QMS, EMS, CAU, IATF, AUD, CII to ensure no serious deviations.Compliance and business continuity

Qualifications
