Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to oversee machine shop maintenance, installation, and TPM programs in a high‑tech manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes predictive and preventive maintenance, control systems engineering, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will have 4–10 years of relevant experience, expertise with CNC/PLC systems, safety practices, and hands‑on involvement in I4.0 initiatives and SAP record

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics is mandatory.
• 4–10 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing setup.
• Experience with CNC controls, PLCs and automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, TPM and 5S implementation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machine shop, machines and equipment.
• Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
• Implement TPM and monitor maintenance KPIs.
• Support control system engineering and troubleshooting.
• Work on I4.0 solutions, machine connectivity and IoT devices.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure audit readiness.
• Maintain SAP records and spare parts locally.

Job Description

• Maintenance of Machine shop, machines, and equipment.
• Preventive, Predictive and breakdown maintenance of machine shop, machines equipment's.
• TPM Implementation
• Experience in control system engineering.
• Preferable expertise in CNC controllers 840D, Fanuc, Rexroth and PLCs - Allen bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Rexroth, robotics ( Fanuc, universal))
• Expertise in Air leakage test, Vacuum tests, Process plants
• Expertise in I4.0 solutions, machine connectivity, IOT devices etc.
• Troubleshooting of technical losses using electrical circuit, PLC & other analytical tools to find out cause
• Breakdown analysis, problem solving technique knowledge.
• Ensure maintenance KPI’s for below target.
• Effectiveness monitoring of all the corrective & preventive actions.
• Ensure adherence to defined maintenance processes.
• Ensure safety and 5S in maintenance area and shopfloor.
• Maintenance documentation and preparation for audits.
• Maintain all activity related records in SAP.
• Implementation of improvement projects.
• Inhouse refurbishment of machine spares
• Localization of costly imported spares.
• Spare part management
• Analysis to plan & implement corrective and preventive measures for major breakdowns.
