Job summary

Bosch India, Bengaluru-based RBAI unit, seeks a BE mechanical/electrical engineer for Laboratory Operations and MAE maintenance, coordinating budget and machine requirements, and supporting validation and process improvement projects.

You will interface with customers for validation plans, support proto samples, SAP BOM migrations and audits, prioritizing quality and continuous improvement in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical engineering is required.
• Hands-on experience with electrical equipment and lab testing is essential.
• Experience with BOM in SAP and quality tools (8D, FMEA, 5 Why).
• Knowledge of IN-HUB motors and electrical drives is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Laboratory operations and MAE maintenance (AMC coordination).
• Coordinate budget and machine requirements globally.
• Perform tests, analyze, and release validation reports for RPP, localization, and process improvement projects.
• Interface with customers for validation plans and discussions.
• Support proto sample builds, validation, and S2C activities.
• Coordinate internal/external quality audits and IT in Lab activities; readiness for audits.
• BOM migration activity in SAP; reduce IDC% through problem solving.

Job Description

• Ensure the Laboratory operations & MAE maintenance (Suppliercoordination for AMC & upliftment of machine)
• Global coordination for budget and machine requirements
• Perform the tests, analyse & release validation report for RPP,Localization, QZ & Process improvement projects
• Interface to Customer for validation plan finalization & validationrelevant discussions
• Support for proto sample build, validation and Sample to Customer(S2C) activities
• Coordinate Internal, external quality audits and IT in Lab activities,while ensure readiness to face audits
• BOM migration activity in SAP
• Problem solving support for internal issue and reduce internal IDC%

Additional Information

• Handson experience in operating Electrical devices/ equipments and
• operating environmental & Corrosion chambers
• Basic knowledge in handling BOM in SAP
• Hands on experience in 8D, FMEA , 5 Why, fault tree analysis.
• Extensive knowledge on IN-HUB motor and electrical drives (AC &DC)
• Basic knowledge on Design software.
• Good Communication and negotiation skill
