Job summary

Bosch India is seeking a Manufacturing Process Planning professional to design and implement efficient production processes for new and existing products. You will manage PFMEA, control plans, and process documentation while coordinating with development, production, and quality teams.

You will lead pilot builds, ensure readiness for serial production, and drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and cycle time, leveraging SAP for data integrity and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical required.
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan and quality systems.
• Experience with NPI/industrialization processes and SAP data management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Planning & Industrialization

• Develop and define manufacturing processes for new product introduction (NPI).


• Ensure process feasibility, efficiency, and readiness for serial production.

2. Change Management

• Handle engineering and process changes in coordination with cross-functional teams.


• Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and smooth implementation.

3. Tooling & MAE Planning

• Identify and plan tooling, fixtures, and Manufacturing Assembly Equipment (MAE) requirements.


• Ensure timely procurement, installation, and commissioning.

4. Process Documentation

• Analyze results and optimize processes before series production.

7. SAP Transaction Management

• Create and manage SAP master data, routing, BOM updates, and order-related transactions.


• Ensure data accuracy and system alignment with actual processes.

8. Customer Support & Audit Readiness

• Support customer visits and audits by demonstrating process capability and documentation compliance.


• Ensure timely closure of audit findings.
