Job summary

PwC is seeking an experienced SRE Architect to design, scale, and ensure the resilience of our enterprise on-premise and hybrid hosting. In this role you will champion SRE principles, drive automation, and define end-to-end hosting architectures across middleware and databases, with IaC using Terraform and Ansible.

You will monitor with Dynatrace for proactive health insights, establish SLOs/SLAs, and lead RCA efforts to prevent outages.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SREArchitect to design, scale, and ensure the resilience of our enterprise hybrid and on-premise infrastructure. In this role, you will champion Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, lead end-to-end application hosting strategies, and drive automation and observability across our core platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Hosting: Define and oversee robust, end-to-end application hosting architectures across on-premise infrastructure, middleware, and database platforms.
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Streamline provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
• Observability & Proactive Monitoring: Implement advanced monitoring strategies and telemetry using Dynatrace to shift from reactive firefighting to proactive system health tracking.
• SREFrameworks: Establish and evangelise SRE principles, defining SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets across engineering teams.
• Troubleshooting & RCA: Drive rigorous root cause analysis (RCA) and complex troubleshooting initiatives to prevent recurring outages and optimize system performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 10-15 years in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Architecture, or DevOps roles.
• Infrastructure & Cloud/On-Prem: Deep expertise in managing and architecting on-premise infrastructure.
• IaC & Automation: Proven proficiency in Terraform and Ansible.
• Enterprise Stack: Strong operational knowledge of enterprise middleware and database platforms.
• Observability Tools: Hands-on experience with Dynatrace for performance monitoring and diagnostics.
• Mindset: Strong analytical troubleshooting skills with a passion for automation, proactive monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory skill sets

• Good Communication Skills- Ability to interact with customers independently with good articulation and confidence and Articulation.
• Digital marketing experience, with Martech platforms implementation (Adobe/SFDC) from solution, design, and implementation specifically with AEP and AJO.
• Database skills – Have good expertise of either of databases SQL/ Oracle /Teradata etc.
• Data model design Skills for Marketing databases. Capability to query, work on aggregates, use filter conditions, Creation joins, define keys, set index etc.
• Logical Programming knowledge, with either JS/ Python /PHP etc., Should be comfortable with HTML/CSS.
• Understand complex data models (preferrable XDM) and the objective of marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with establishing rules and conditional logics to customize journeys based on customer attributes and behaviours. Advocate for improvements.
• Strong ability to partner and effectively work across the organization with line of business and technology colleagues. Strong implementation coordination and communication skills.

Preferred skill sets

• Own the project deliverables end to end working independently.
• Prior experience with CDP/Adobe campaign.
• Data engineering Skills.
