PwC South Africa is seeking a Senior Associate DevOps Engineer to join our Advisory Data, Analytics & AI practice. You will design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes clusters, and implement infrastructure as code to support scalable cloud-based workloads.

The role requires strong scripting, monitoring, and cloud platform experience. The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of hands-on DevOps experience, proficiency in Python, Linux, and observability tools such as

Qualifications

4–8 years of DevOps experience.
Experience with Azure/AWS cloud platforms.
Proficient in CI/CD using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized apps.
Infrastructure as code with Terraform or ARM templates.
Strong Linux administration skills.
Proficient in monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
Proficient in Python scripting.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Manage Kubernetes clusters including deployment, scaling and lifecycle.
Implement IaC to provision Azure infrastructure.

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins for automated and seamless deployments.
Manage Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management of containerized applications.
Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or ARM templates to automate provisioning and management of Azure infrastructure.
Ensure system reliability and uptime through proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
Leverage cloud-native tools and services across Azure, AWS, or GCP to optimize infrastructure and application performance.
Develop and maintain scripts to automate operational tasks and improve system efficiency.
Implement and manage observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, or similar solutions to monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
