• Python or Bash scripting and GitLab CI/GitHub Actions workflows.

Responsibilities

• Re-architect, containerize, and migrate monolithic apps to modern cloud/hybrid environments.
• Design, build, and maintain cloud infra declaratively with Terraform.
• Write Ansible playbooks and roles for server config and deployment.
• Define and track SLOs/SLAs and build self-healing remediations to reduce MTTR.
• Integrate Terraform and Ansible into CI/CD workflows for zero-touch deployments.
• Ensure infra templates comply with security baselines and policies.

• Application Modernization: Re-architect, containerize, and migrate monolithic applications into modern cloud or hybrid environments (Kubernetes, microservices).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and resources declaratively using Terraform.
• Configuration & Deployment Automation: Write and optimize Ansible playbooks and roles for automated server configuration, software deployment, and routine patch management.
• Reliability & Incident Management: Define and track SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets; build automated self-healing remediation workflows to reduce MTTR.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate Terraform and Ansible pipelines into robust CI/CD workflows to guarantee consistent, zero-touch deployments.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure templates and configuration scripts adhere to enterprise security baselines and compliance policies.
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience:8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering focused on infrastructure automation and application modernization.
• Core Automation Stack:
• Expert-level proficiency in Terraform (State management, modules, and multi-cloud provisioning).
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible (Playbooks, roles, idempotency, and agentless execution).
• Cloud & Container Technologies: Solid working experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
• Scripting & Tooling: Proficient in Python or Bash, and experienced with Git-based version control workflows (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Observability: Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
