Job summary

PwC Bengaluru seeks a seasoned cloud infrastructure engineer to design and manage scalable Azure platforms. You will automate provisioning with Terraform/ARM/Bicep, build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, and deploy containerized apps with Docker and AKS while shaping observability and security.

You will lead incident responses and collaborate across teams to enhance performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Mandatory skills include Azure services (AKS, VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, VNet, Load Balancer).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep).
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions, Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker.
• Ability to implement monitoring/observability with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable Azure-based cloud infrastructure.

Job Description & Summary

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Azure Bicep.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and AKS.
• Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to improve platform reliability.
• Implement observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Lead production incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem activities.
• Ensure cloud security compliance through Azure RBAC, Key Vault, network security groups, and governance policies.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
