Job summary

PwC India is seeking a seasoned Data Governance professional at Manager level to lead data governance programs, manage enterprise data platforms, and drive data quality, privacy, and security across client engagements.

You will engage with stakeholders, translate requirements into roadmaps, and guide teams through end-to-end implementation of governance platforms, ensuring architectural alignment and successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in data governance, data management, data consulting, enterprise data platforms, or related product roles.
• Strong experience in large scale and end to end implementation of at least one DG platform (Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Atlan, IBM Knowledge Catalog, etc).
• Strong understanding of Data Governance operating models, roles, policies, processes, controls, and enabling technology.
• Hands‑on assessment, implementation, product‑management, or advisory experience with DG platforms.
• Experience conducting product/tool evaluations, capability assessments, maturity assessments, or vendor selections.
• Ability to translate stakeholder needs into capabilities, requirements, epics, and an actionable roadmap.
• Working knowledge of metadata, lineage, data quality, privacy, security, cloud data platforms, integration patterns, and APIs.
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to balance strategic ambition with delivery feasibility and architectural constraints.
• Experience leading small consulting or cross‑functional teams and independently owning senior‑client conversations.
• (Preferred) DAMA/CDMP, DCAM, cloud, privacy, product‑management, or Agile certification.
