Job summary

PwC India is seeking an experienced data and analytics professional to drive insights, optimise operations and deliver strategic business value. You will lead data engineering, governance, and analytics solutions across cloud platforms, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to implement end‑to‑end data solutions.

The role requires 7–12 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and BI/analytics, with strong SQL, Python/Java skills and knowledge of GCP services such as

Qualifications

• Experience with data engineering and analytics in cloud environments.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and security controls.
• Strong SQL and Python/Java programming skills.
• Knowledge of BigQuery, Dataplex and related GCP services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), Dataform, GCS, and Cloud Functions.
• Implement data governance with Dataplex, security, and logging best practices to ensure compliance and data privacy.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes on BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other GCP storage solutions.
• Implement data integration, ingestion, and transformation workflows to support analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark and SQL.
