Job summary

Bosch Rexroth India is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead component development, supplier development and strategic sourcing across mechanical parts and sub-assemblies.

The role requires 6–10 years in purchasing, strong cost negotiation skills and familiarity with SAP, MS Office, SharePoint and Teams. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and relocate to Germany for the first year of employment is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with practical project management experience.
• Analytical and structured approach; results oriented.
• Strong communication across levels; independent work.
• 6–10 years' experience in purchasing parts; vendor development.
• Experience with SAP, MS Office, SharePoint and Teams.

• Manage Component/Part Development and New Part Development (NPD).

• RFQ, Strategic Sourcing, Program Management and Project Management.
• Quality Management for Mechanical Components, machinery and sub-assemblies.
• Interface with Central Purchasing, material field purchasing and quality; travel as needed.

• Manage Component/ Part Development, New Part Development (NPD), Vendor Development, Cost Negotiation, Zero Based Costing, Request for Quotation, Strategic Sourcing, Program Management, Project Management, Quality Management for Various Product, application projects –related to Mechanical Components, Machinery building and Sub-assemblies.
• Responsible for Development of Parts like Casting, Machining, & forging parts.
• Responsible for achievement of quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Having experience of Zero base costing
• communication and participation in sourcing decisions.
• Representative in PEP – New product development project.
• Interface with: Central Purchasing, material field related purchasing and quality
• Ensure preventive quality planning (VQP) for project specific new parts and
• coordination of their release.
• Requirement based travel - domestic and international

The candidate must be willing to relocate to Germany for the first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering / Bachelor's Degree – Mechanical Engineering
• Practical commercial and project management experience.
• Analytical and structural approach.
• Work well independently, highly motivated, results oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
• Strong organizational skills and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time, including following up on his/her actions
• Minimum 6 - 10 years’ experience with purchasing parts is preferred.
• Ability to develop network in very complex company culture.
• SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Team experience required.

Preferably have a professional experience in Project Purchasing / Program management with sound knowledge onCasting, Machining & forging Components and Sub-assemblies development & vendor development activities

The candidate must be willing to relocate to Germany for the first year of employment.
