Job summary

Bosch Rexroth India is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing excellence team in Gujarat. You will drive productivity, reduce rework using Lean tools, and ensure compliance with Safety and quality norms across production lines.

The ideal candidate holds a BE in Mechanical and has 3-6 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic systems, testing, PFMEA, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize layout, material flow, and process

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical degree with 3–6 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Experience with hydraulic systems, testing and quality tools.
• Familiarity with Lean tools and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Drive Productivity and reduce rework using Lean Tools.
• Ensure safety, quality norms and process controls on the shop floor.
• Conduct Time and Motion Study and Cycle-time analysis.
• Implement PFMEA, Control Plan and Risk Mitigation Actions.
• Improve layout, material flow and machine utilization.
• Ensure first-time-right execution based on drawings and BOM.
• Comply with ISO and participate in QHSE audits.
• Prepare daily/weekly production plans based on project timelines.
• Drive RPP projects and involvement in BPS activities.

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Drive Productivity, reduce rework and rejection using Lean Tools
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety, quality norms and process controls.
• Conduct Time and Motion Study and Cycle-time analysis
• Implement PFMEA, Control Plan and Risk Mitigation Actions.
• Improve layout, material flow, machine utilization, and ergonomics
• Ensure first time right execution based on approved drawings and BOM
• Ensure compliance to ISO and Involvement in all QHSE activities including internal and external audits.
• Prepare daily/weekly production plans based on project timelines and routing time
• Involvement in BPS activities and co ordinating and driving RPP projects

Qualifications

B.E. Mechanical with 3 - 6 Years of Experience

Preferred Skills / Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Hydraulic components & their function, Hydraulic Circuit and GA Drawing
• -Expertise in Hydraulic Testing and CustomerInspection.
• -Proficiency in problem solving tools (8D, 5 Why,Fishbone, PDCA)
• -Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, 5S,Kaizen.
• -Analytical, data-driven, and decision-making ability
