  • Experience with forecasting models and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple functions.

IMS Forecast Specialist II

Location: Hyderabad, India

Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Forecast Specialist to develop, maintain, and analyze project and study forecasts that support operational and financial decision-making. The role requires close collaboration with Clinical Operations, Finance, Project Management, and cross-functional teams to ensure forecast accuracy, identify risks, and provide actionable business insights.

  • Develop and maintain project/study forecasts using operational and financial data.
  • Analyze forecast assumptions, trends, and variances against actual performance.
  • Monitor enrollment, milestones, site activations, and project timelines to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather forecast inputs and validate assumptions.
  • Support monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, governance reviews, and management reporting.
  • Identify forecast risks, data quality issues, and potential financial impacts.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Clinical Research, CRO, Biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Knowledge of enrollment forecasting, investigator grants forecasting, project financial management, and resource planning.
  • Familiarity with CTMS, EDC, Oracle, Power BI, or similar forecasting platforms.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
