Analyst II, Logistics Job Description

Job Title: Analyst II – Import/Export Logistics

Location: Ahmedabad

Overview

Responsible for driving operations with excellence, aligning business stakeholders to floor teams, and serving as a functional expert in processes while implementing continuous improvement and customer centricity.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Import/Export Operations and set up routines from scratch, focusing on process excellence.
• Transition processes, guide teams to set up floor processes, and act as change management agent.
• Lead and drive service reviews of KPIs and governance meetings to action continuous improvements.
• Identify opportunities across the E2E supply chain to enable KHC operations cost improvement and process standardization.
• Daily management of sailing schedule, customer pickup planning, and pulling orders forward to meet payload goals for both primary and secondary network.
• Float orders to meet available capacity where necessary, revisiting shipments to add volume.
• Lead calls to address expediting/shortening lead time, MOQs, to build solutions for customers without cost‑in.
• Facilitate customs clearance documentation and prioritization management, ensure document control measures are adhered to in respective portals and local systems and trackers.
• Effectively conduct Root Cause Analysis for issues and develop implementable solutions.

Key Interfaces

• Supply Chain Stakeholders across markets, transporters, shippers, direct order customers.
• Business processes: Logistics processes, invoicing, warehouse management processes, control tower operations, carrier/shippers management, documentation and compliance.
• Within KHC, this role works closely with operations functions across global zones, GBS, global logistics, supply planning and IT.

Requirements

• 4-6 years experience in logistics operations, especially in export operations with awareness of documentation and international logistics and shipping operations.
• Working knowledge in OTM, SAP, CAS & Traces is an added advantage.
• Hands‑on work attitude and customer centric, bias toward action.
