Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Bangalore seeks an Associate Principal Engineer (Motor Control) with 6–12 years of embedded experience. You will work on motor control firmware for various motor types, and influence algorithms such as FOC and 6-step control while interfacing with hardware teams.

The role demands hands-on development on ARM Cortex-M/A microcontrollers and experience with power electronics hardware debugging and testing in home appliances or automotive contexts.

Qualifications

• Embedded C and RTOS experience.
• Motor control parameter tuning and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with ARM Cortex-M/A microcontrollers.
• Firmware development for motor controllers (BLDC/PMSM/Induction).
• Exposure to power electronics hardware debugging with oscilloscope/probes.
• Knowledge of FOC and 6-step commutation methods.
• Stepper motor control experience.
• MATLAB/Simulink modelling for power electronics applications.
• Experience with LV/HV applications in appliances/automotive.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement motor control firmware for AC/DC drive systems.
• Tune motor control parameters and validate algorithms on hardware.
• Debug and optimize power electronics hardware with oscilloscope and probes.
• Collaborate with hardware team on motor controller architectures and testing.

ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL ENGINEER (Motor Control)

Exp Level : 6 to 12 years

• Embedded C and RTOS
• Experience in motor control parameter tuning and Algorithms for same.
• Hands on experience working on ARM Cortex-M/A based microcontrollers
• Experience in Motor Controller Firmware development (BLDC/PMSM/Induction Motors/Inverters).
• Exposure to Power Electronics hardware development and debugging using Oscilloscope/Current probes.
• Knowledge of FOC, 6-step commutation control methods .

• Experience in Matlab/Simulink modelling for power electronics-based applications.
