  • 2+ years of hands-on professional experience developing computer vision/image processing software from scratch.
  • Proven background executing at least one full-lifecycle project covering core operations like Image Restoration, Matching, Enhancement, or Feature Extraction.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, NumPy, and OpenCV.

  • Feature Extraction & Analysis: Implement algorithms for image enhancement, restoration, feature matching, edge detection, morphological operations, change detection, segmentation, and classification.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously benchmark and refine existing image processing codebases using modern OpenCV and NumPy methodologies to improve execution speed and memory efficiency.
  • Applied R&D Integration: Translate academic research papers and state-of-the-art remote sensing literature into production-ready software solutions.
  • Documentation & Standards: Maintain clean code practices, clear architecture documentation, and technical guidelines for deployed application workflows.

JOB SUMMARY

As an Image Processing Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, optimization, and deployment of core spatial algorithms. You will work directly on raw satellite telemetry and Earth observation data, applying advanced computer vision, restoration, and feature extraction techniques to power high-performance payload capabilities.

In this role, you will own the pipeline efficiency, algorithm accuracy, and real-time operational performance of satellite image preprocessing software. By bridging cutting-edge computer vision research with robust deployment practices, you will directly influence how global clientele process, visualize, and analyze space-borne data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python, NumPy, and OpenCV.
  • Core Competencies: Solid understanding of digital signal processing fundamentals, debugging complex spatial matrices, and algorithm complexity optimization.

  • Direct domain exposure to Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or satellite data formats.
