Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Sr Developer to lead migration from Informatica PowerCenter to IICS/IDMC. You will analyze mappings, assess migration feasibility and implement end-to-end migration with cloud-aligned ETL patterns.

You will redesign ETL logic for performance and data accuracy, conduct unit and system testing, and validate mappings, parameters, scheduling, and error handling during the migration.

Qualifications

• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and IICS/IDMC migrations.
• Hands-on with Pyspark and Databricks for cloud data platforms.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing Informatica PowerCenter mappings, workflows, sessions and dependencies.
• Assess migration feasibility and identify IICS equivalents for PowerCenter components.
• Perform end-to-end migration from PowerCenter to IICS using migration utilities and manual conversion where required.
• Redesign and optimize ETL logic to align with cloud best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing and data reconciliation post migration.
• Migrate and validate mappings, parameter files, scheduling, dependencies, error handling and logging.
• Resolve performance issues and ensure data accuracy.
