Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Informatica IICS/IDMC developer to lead cloud data integration migrations and ongoing ETL design. You will analyze PowerCenter mappings and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver robust cloud ETL solutions.

You will optimize ETL processes for cloud readiness, ensure data accuracy, and mentor junior team members while collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in managing Informatica development related activities
• Ownership of development and testing of IICS Components
• Working with client, understand the business trend, conduct proofs of concepts and develop software solutions
• Communication with client and other stakeholders with appropriate data points and at the right time
• Process improvement, best practices for continuous refinement of the application
• Mentoring and grooming other team members as required
• Analyze existing Informatica PowerCenter mappings, workflows, sessions and dependencies
• Assess migration feasibility and identify IICS equivalents for PowerCenter components
• Perform end-to-end migration from PowerCenter to IICS using migration utilities and manual conversion
• Redesign and optimize ETL logic to align with cloud best practices
• Conduct unit testing, system testing and data reconciliation post migration
• Migrate and Validate: Mappings and workflows, Parameter files and variables, Scheduling and dependencies, Error handling and logging
• Resolve performance issues and ensure data accuracy.
