TigerHire seeks a Staff Nurse for ICU to implement prescribed care, monitor patients, and support fast-paced critical care units in India. The role demands nursing qualifications and ICU experience with strong documentation skills.

The candidate will participate in admissions, discharges, and daily rounds, ensuring hygiene, safety, and strict adherence to nursing protocols while maintaining patient comfort and timely medication delivery.

Formación

• ANM/GNM/B.Sc Nursing qualification is required.
• 2-4 years of nursing experience, preferably in ICU.
• Familiarity with nursing protocols and patient documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Follow treatments prescribed by doctors for patients.
• Provide and check medications as prescribed by doctors.
• Maintain the crush cart and ensure item availability daily.
• Coordinate with physio and attendants for mobilization of patients.
• Monitor vital signs hourly and report any changes.
• Document patient data and maintain IO charts.
• Assist in admission and discharge of patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and MRD checklist adherence.
• Attend trainings nominated by ICU administration.

Patient Related

• Following the treatments prescribed by doctors for patients
• Providing and checking medications offered to patients as prescribed by doctors
• Should be informed about patient history details for processing treatment
• Maintaining the crush cart and checking item availability on daily basis
• Coordination with physio and attendants for mobilization of patients
• Providing timely medication as per prescription to the patient
• Anwering to the patient calls immediately
• Informing any medication error to ward incharge/nursing incharge for timely action
• Supporting the ward administrator on patient rounds
• Abiding to the ICP practices at all times
• Following the surgical procedures
• Maintaining IO chart of patients
• Checking the vital signs of patients on hourly basis
• Informing dietician about the patient diet changes
• Maintaining the personal hygiene of the patients including clothes, bath, hair, spunge etc
• Practicing and maintaining hygiene at all times
• Preparing transfer sheets in case of patient transfer in any other room/ward
• Informing patients' relative or MO before conducting any procedure on patient
• Documentation for patients at the time of emergency
• Maintaining medication sheet of patients and following the same
• Maintaining the medicine drawer in the ICU

• Mandatory file making of patient data during night shifts
• Thorough checking of documents at the time of discharge
• Abiding to nursing protocols strictly like no jewellery on floor, clean shave etc
• Administrating medical requirements of the patients
• Performing the duties as and when assigned by the ICU administrator
• Mandatorily attend the trainings he/she is nominated for.
